Food Close would recommend making at least one visit to this farm shop before making an order. This way you get to meet the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, see the fields where your salads and veg will be growing, as well as stocking up on the wide range of organic groceries in the shop. You can also try out their range of non-homogenised milk.
If you order a delivery you’ll find the customer service by phone or email personalised and very helpful. This is not a faceless website ordering experience. Orders are delivered according to a schedule which takes in Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas. Compile an email list from the information on the site and send it in a couple of days before the delivery day for your area.
On the weeks when you can’t get to the farmers market, sit back and wait for a delivery instead!
