The market has the welcome aroma of hot food on arrival! On closer inspection these turn out to be ostrich burgers being fried off with onions and served in white or brown cobs. You probably wouldn't normally consider eating burgers at 9am but on a cold morning it seems a perfect time to sample some of this superbly lean ostrich meat. 
This market benefits from free parking and is the only one in Nottingham with a handy Car Wash service! If you become a farm shop regular, you’ll find your car does start to get muddier.
With Co-op on hand to supplement your farmer’s market shopping with its range of ecover, fair trade and organic products you’ll be very satisfied with your visit.
The queue for bread breaks all local farmer’s market records (see top image above) and usually stretches back the width of the market.
